La Quercia shopping centre by Piazza Rosa dei Venti is one of the main gathering places in the resort. People meet up there to socialize, have fun in the evening and take a stroll as they go window shopping or enjoy an ice cream.
Every night in the summer months the businesses in the shopping centre organize concerts, games, kids’ discos and other entertainment for young and old alike.
You are bound to leave Lido Altanea at the end of your stay with special memories of a wonderful day there with your family or the new friends that you have made.
Opposite the shopping centre is the “Peter Pan” park, which is surrounded by a fence so you can rest at ease as your children play and have fun in complete safety on the slides, swings, rope ladders and other games and rides.
The flavours and aromas of fine cuisine are never far away in Lido Altanea. At lunch and dinner, the local restaurants serve delicious Veneto dishes that really bring out the qualities and characteristics of the seafood and the products from the bountiful farmland.
If you are looking for something quicker, there are pizzerias, snack bars, kiosks on the beach and ice cream parlours where you can grab a bite to eat or an aperitif to make an evening with friends even more appetizing.
Stretching out on the sun loungers and basking in the golden rays as the sea breeze blows across Lido Altanea’s well-equipped beach is a blissful way to relax. For tourists who are always active and full of energy, we recommend a nice morning run along the seafront, while children will need their buckets and spades for the numerous games on the beach organized by the entertainment staff from the mini-club, where they can make lots of new friends.
Without straying too far from the beach, you can sit on the seafront terrace of the Wave kiosk and take in the stunning view of the water as you enjoy some lunch or just a drink, an ice cream, a snack or some fruit salad.
Getting around in Lido Altanea is easy, safe and fun.
It is possible to get from all of the holiday villages to the beach, the shopping centre and the sports facilities along cycle and pedestrian paths. They are quiet and safe for children and there are no roads to cross.
Moving around is never dull if you use the exciting little train that cheerfully takes children and adults around the streets of the resort.
