There is more to Bibione than nature, sport and the beach. It can also offer a wide range of recreation and entertainment to enhance the holidays of its guests.
Bibione is an ideal holiday destination for everyone, especially families with children thanks to all of the services to make life easier for youngsters and the numerous attractions and theme parks nearby. Luna Park Adriatico has 65 rides of different kinds and it is open every evening. Nearby, you will find the Acquasplash water park, which boasts water slides and pools with wave machines. Fun for the family is just a short trip away in the Gulliverlandia theme park, Zoo Punta Verde is one of the finest establishments of its kind in Europe, with more than 1,500 mammals, birds and reptiles from more than 200 species, and in the Parco dei Pappagalli the world of parrots is studied and guided tours are organized for tourists.
Holidays for teenagers will involve not only days on the beach but also evenings in the many bars, pubs, clubs and pizzerias where they can have hours of inexpensive fun with their friends listening to music.
There is no shortage of nightlife in Bibione. In the evening, the main road becomes a pedestrian area and lining the streets of the town and the main squares there are shops, restaurants and bars where tourists can always savour the outstanding local cuisine. On many evenings the town centre is filled with craft fairs and markets, little music and entertainment shows for children or big events such as the Festival Show, concerts and outdoor screenings of films organized by local associations.
There is a market every Tuesday morning on Via Orsa Maggiore, next to Luna Park. There is a huge range of goods on sale, from clothes to fruit and vegetables. In addition, visitors can admire the displays in the many shops in the town centre and find some great deals.
At the westernmost point of Bibione, boating enthusiasts will find storage facilities and services for their boats in Porto Baseleghe, a marina with 400 berths. It looks out over the spellbinding lagoon and the traditional fishermen’s homes known as casoni, which are made of reeds.
